Corner是英語中較為常見的單詞，意為“角落/拐角處”。Corner也可組成不同的介詞短語，in the corner，at the corner，和on the corner。這三個短語看似相似，在含義上卻有差別。

2.on the corner可以表示“在拐角上/在角上” ，強調(diào)在角的頂點上，這里的角一般指平面的角（如道路的拐角）在表示“在拐角處”時可以和at the corner互換。
3.at the corner表示在拐角處，在拐角周圍（如角邊），范圍要大一些。多指在180度以上的角。
因此，上面的例句應(yīng)該這樣翻譯更為準確：
She stacked all the books in the corner of the room.
她把所有的書都堆在了房間的墻角處。
Let’s go to that bar on the corner after work.
